Public Speaking & Confidence Workshop (Ages 9–12)
A free 2-hour workshop to help children overcome nerves, build confidence, and feel more comfortable speaking in front of others — whether in the classroom, on stage, or socially.
Does your child go blank during school speeches? Do their palms sweat, their hands shake, or do they avoid putting their hand up in class? They’re not alone — for many kids, speaking in public is one of their greatest fears. The good news? Confidence can be coached.
In this interactive session your child will learn how to:
-
Use body language to appear more confident
-
Project their voice so they’re clear and heard
-
Make genuine eye contact and connect with their audience
-
Manage nerves when speaking at school or socially
-
Build confidence that helps with friendships, schoolwork, and future opportunities
About the Coach
Samantha Dale Wilkinson draws on over 25 years of running workshops and coaching experience — utilising tools from TV and theatre training — to help young people harness their nerves and find their voice. She uses drama, confidence, and team-building exercises to promote inclusivity, resilience, and social connection.
For kids with a flair for performing, Samantha has also coached and booked many students for professional TV and media work through her talent agency, Dare Enterprises. Every child is supported in a highly personalised and safe space to explore and conquer one of the most common fears: speaking in front of others.
Spaces are STRICTLY LIMITED to ensure a small, boutique workshop with individual attention.
