Rowing for Bush Kids

Outback Rowing Australia is hosting a special two-day rowing camp this school holidays on 2 and 3 October 2025. Local students from grades 6 to 12 are invited to come along, learn new skills on the water, and connect with others in a fun and supportive environment.

The camp will be led by several Queensland and Australian rowing coaches, providing young people the chance to learn from the best while building confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Boats include quads and single sculls, with all catering provided.

Alongside rowing, there will be fun activities, plenty of encouragement, and prizes for everyone – making it an inclusive event where all kids can feel part of the team.
