“Holistic Healing & Empowerment: Nurturing Mental Wellbeing for Women DV Survivors” is a unique, collaborative initiative by Latin Temple Beauty, partnered with Irela Aqua and Fitness, and proudly supported by Step up for students LTD, Joe Kelly MP and Coles. This project directly addresses the crucial need for enhanced mental wellbeing among migrant women in Brisbane who have experienced gender-based violence as a support to overcome the extra adversity to be far from family and often friends and is part of the broader project Experience the Journey to a Holistic Wellness.

During Queensland Mental Health Week, we will deliver a half-day session, offering empowering and transforming Pilates and therapeutic self-care activities (facials). This innovative approach aims to foster a profound sense of Belonging and Connection within a supportive community, specifically enhancing Awareness of holistic recovery pathways. By rebuilding self-confidence and promoting self-care in a safe, nurturing environment, our event directly contributes to reducing stigma and supporting the mental health journey of a highly vulnerable group.
