Doing it Together!

We are all in this together!  IDEAL Placements answered a call from a Mackay Youth Justice Co-responder. They wanted to assist Drug Arm, Headspace, PCYC, Kalyan Youth Accommodation and other community organisations to provide people experiencing mental health issues with relevant information.

The Co-responder & Police Liaison officer work in the shopping centre has created a strong relationship and offers an opportunity to capture a broader audience including many mutual clients.

The opportunity to move the information & fun activities to the carpark and participate with the PCYC After Dark BBQ until 7pm creates a socially inclusive project for all ages and services.
