Cairns 2025 Arafmi Mental Health Carers Forum

Arafmi warmly invites carers, families and community members to the inaugural Mental Health Carers Forum in Cairns. This free event will be held on Thursday 16 October 2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel, bringing together over 100 carers for a day of learning, sharing and connection.

The forum will feature guest speakers including Queensland Mental Health Commissioner Ivan Frkovic, as well as opportunities to relax and connect with others through activities like professional headshots and mini massages. With a buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided, it’s a chance to come together, build networks and hear about current trends in the mental health sector.
