11th Positive Mindset Visual Arts Exhibition 2025

We are once again calling for artworks now by primary and secondary school students for consideration to be included at our Positive Mindset Visual Arts Exhibition later in the year.

Themes are:

• Positive Mental Health or
• Resilience after a disaster

Due date: 18 September 2025
Participants will need to email a high-quality picture of the finished artwork (which should be no larger than 100cm x 100cm in physical dimension) with the student’s name, school, grade level and an artist’s statement to Festival Co-Director, Adam Lo at adam.lo@health.qld.gov.au

A selection of artworks will be included in visual art exhibitions at the end of the year.

Artists of the selected artworks will be invited to receive an award at the Positive Mindset Carnival to be held during Queensland Mental Health Week on the 10 October 2025, at the Queensland Parliament House.

The Positive Mindset Creative Arts Festival Showcase will also be held at Sunnybank Hills State School on the 8 October 2025.
