Yarn & Feed: First Nations Artist Lunch

“Yarn & Feed” is a one-day event bringing together First Nations artists, creatives and arts workers for a nourishing lunch and safe space to connect, yarn and share experiences.

Held at New Farm Park during Queensland Mental Health Week, this event supports mob working in the arts — many of whom face isolation, burnout and systemic barriers. Through
open conversation, cultural connection and creative exchange, the event aims to nurture wellbeing, build community, and spark joy.

Hosted by First Storytellers Collective, the lunch will be free or low-cost with proceeds supporting a new podcast sharing the voices and journeys of First Nations creatives.
