Mental Health First Aid Trivia Night

We are Florence Bay Rover Crew, a group of 18-26-year-old Rover Scouts, part of Kennedy Region Scouts. We have a passion for community service, leadership, adventure, and personal growth.

Next month, Queensland celebrates Mental Health Week from October 4-12, and we are excited to announce that we are hosting a Trivia Night on October 10 (Also World Mental Health Day!). Not only will we be raising awareness for mental health in Queensland, but we are also raising funds to attend specialised Mental Health First Aid training, which will teach us skills like providing initial crisis support, intervene early by recognizing warning signs, and reducing the stigma around mental illness in our community.

We are super excited to host this event, and can’t wait to bring our community together for a good cause!!
