Youth Health Expo

William Ross SHS Youth Health Expo is an event that is very popular and exciting as it is directed to help support our young people and families. It is an event targeted at our adolescent students to provide a holistic response to promote positive physical and mental health.
Our school partners with local community organisations including services which engage with groups vulnerable to greater risk (Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQA+, Young People) to hold an expo at the school showcasing their services and providing soft introduction between students and support. We are holding the event to promote awareness of community-based services and supports and reduce stigma around mental health for adolescents.
