CELEBRATING MENTAL HEALTH HEROES – NOMINATE NOW FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Have you nominated for 2016 Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards proudly organised by Open Minds? Now in its 4th year, the Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals, groups and organisations improving understanding and awareness of mental health and wellbeing.

Its time to nominate – yourself, your organisation or others doing wonderful things in the mental health space.  Simply complete and submit your online nomination form, or email events@openminds.org.au for more information.

Award nominations close 5 September, with finalists announced by 30 September. Winners will be announced at the Achievement Awards luncheon on Friday, 14 October, contact Open Minds to secure your tickets.

This year, Canefields Clubhouse are partnering with Queensland Mental Health Week to coordinate our merchandise fulfilment.  Canefields Clubhouse is a NGO operating psycho-social rehabilitation for adults experiencing mental illness in Logan-Beaudesert area of Brisbane.

This year, we have collated a range of specific, segmented resources – just for you. Visit the resources page on our website to find relevant material for you and your organisation.

After a succesful 2015, we are again offering the SANE Carers and Lived Experience forum communities – safe, anonymous and moderated 24 hours a day, providing support and connection from others affected by mental illness.
