QUEENSLAND MENTAL HEALTH WEEK ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS. IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE!
Nominations are now open for the 2016Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards proudly organised byOpen Minds. The Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals, groups and organisations improving understanding and awareness of mental health and wellbeing.

Its so easy to nominate yourself, your organisation or others for any one of the eight categories, and there is no fee.  Simply download and complete the nomination form, or email events@openminds.org.au for more information.

• Workplace Award – Large
• Media Award
• Not-For-Profit Award – SME
• Not-For-Profit Award – Large
• Jude Bugeja – Peer Experience Award
• Individual Award
• Youth Award

Award nominations close on 5 September, and finalists will be announced by 30 September. Winners will be announced at the Achievement Awards luncheon on Friday, 14 October.  Stay tuned for more details in our next e-news.

REGISTER YOUR QUEENSLAND MENTAL HEALTH WEEK EVENT NOW!
There are so many ways to get involved during Queensland Mental Health Week. Events offer a really wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and wellbeing in our communities.  Why not organise a Fun Run, encourage your local school or sporting club to hold an event, or have a morning tea at your workplace?  No event is too big or small!

Register your event details to show your support for QMHW, whether you have a public or private event.  We’ll help promote your event. You’ll literally be on the QMHW map, making it so easy for people to find your event!

This year, Canefields Clubhouse are partnering with Queensland Mental Health Week to coordinate our merchandise fulfilment.  Canefields Clubhouse is a NGO operating psycho-social rehabilitation for adults experiencing mental illness in Logan-Beaudesert area of Brisbane.
