Take part in Australia’s Largest Mental Health Walk – Walk for Awareness Supported by Tessa Group.

Walk for Awareness is an event that involves bringing people together in a friendly to support each other, to break the silence on mental illness and to contribute to the funding of programs that are making a difference on the front line with mental health issues.

The morning begins with an inspiring opening ceremony, where we remember those lost to depression and mental illness and honour those continuing the battle. After a quick warm up and stretch, walkers will take off on an 8km walk around Brisbane’s winding river and beautiful scenery.

As you make your way towards the Finish Line, you’ll walk over Brisbane’s finest landmarks ‘The Story Bridge’, where you will be cheered on by onlooking supporters and finally greeted with high energy celebrations of your epic walk and amazing impact you’ve just made in the quest to raise awareness of depression and mental illness.
