Atherton Tablelands – take time to connect

Take time to connect with culture and with the community on Saturday 5th October at 11am. Join us at Playtpus Park for a BBQ with mental health charity Bamboo Projects and a local Indigenous Elder to talk about all things Mental Health. You’ll be able to participate in traditional arts and crafts and remember to keep an eye out for the infamous platypus in the river below the BBQ viewing platform.

Our event will allow for children, teenagers and adults to connect over a BBQ, arts and crafts and a mental health chat. It will allow for new friendships to be made, for barriers and stigmas to be broken and for a deeper connection to develop. We hope to see you there!
