Event Type

Public

Date & Time

Thursday, October 10 2019, 2:00 pm

Location

Cooroy RSL, Maple Street, Cooroy QLD, Australia

Organiser

Maple Street Surgery

Maple Street Surgery invites everyone from our community to join us for a free cuppa and a chat about mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health. So if you are living with anxiety or depression or know of someone who does, please put this date in your diary and tell your friends.

We are fortunate to have a guest speaker with the lived experience attending to share their journey with mental illness with us, plus staff from Black Dog Institute, Primary Healthcare Network, Dr Phillips, RN Lilly and Practice Manager Donna from Maple Street Surgery, plus two Mental Health Nurses and CEO from Eden Hospital.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to attend. Please bring a gold coin donation for the amazing work that the Black Dog Institute do every day, helping Australians that battle with anxiety and depression with much needed online assistance, such as MyCompass and MindSpot.

We hope to see you there.
