Clean up the Waterways Community Event

Join our hardcore Clean Up Crew to make a true difference to our waterways! Come and look after the environment and connect with other people who want to make a difference. Our hardcore team is always looking for extra hands. The floods have left every waterway in a state and we are on a mission to do what we can to rectify this.

This opportunity is not for children. We need hardcore crew. Your feet will get wet! We play in the mangroves in mud and fight mosquitoes all day. If it isn’t the mosquitoes then the sand flies will get you. You’ll need to wear clothes that cover you from top to tail. They will get wet and muddy. Shoes need to be solid but suitable for getting wet. Gumboots are ideal. We will be leaving from the Uhlmann Road Road Boat Ramp at 8:00am. We usually return to the ramp by 1:00pm.
