Learn to make mini samosa plush toys that will be gifted to frontline healthcare workers during Queensland Mental Health week as a special token of appreciation for their service to the community.
We are a small group who have come together for sewing and crafting. Our first project is to make as many of these little samosa plushies as we can before 10 October. They will be given to nurses working at the frontline of COVID-19 in the Brisbane region. Each little samosa will carry a message of love and hope. The idea is a to do something fun that is good for mental health and brings joy to others!

Join us on Sundays 2pm-3pm. Previous experience not required. We will be doing some basic hand stitching using needles and thread. Materials provided.

  • Venue: Lower ground floor Hall of Vedanta Centre, Springfield Lakes at 96 Vedanta Drive which is just behind 2 Poppy Crescent
  • Cost: free!
  • Date: Every Sunday from August 22 to October 17

Our other QMHW events schedule can be seen here.
