Connection is not only the core of family wellbeing but essential for good mental health.

This activity during Queensland Mental Health Week will see connection and self-care themed boxes delivered to vulnerable families that are currently accessing support from The Family Unit.

The boxes will contain resources to encourage families to connect over fun and wellbeing focused activities, along with information about mental health and the supports available in the local community.

Boxes will be tailor-made for each family but could include board games, DVD and movie night snacks, mindfulness colouring-in, essential oils, art supplies, baking kit, outdoor games, gardening kit and other resources promoting self-care and family connection time at home.
