The journey of dementia is challenging.  The person diagnosed with dementia experiences a decline of abilities in memory, thinking, communication and mobility.

The family member becomes increasingly a carer of their “loved one” with the medical condition.

Changes in relationships, behaviours, staff and services, accommodation and finances can be overwhelming.

Both experience a range of mental health issues, including loss, grief, isolation, anxiety and stress.

The workshop will discuss mental health and the need for Time-Out or Respite.

Information on services or resources will be provided.
