Hosted by Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ), in association with Brisbane City Council, the 2019 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition showcases a wonderful collection of striking and unique artwork by artists with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery.

This key Queensland Mental Health Week event will be held from 5-11 October in the Toowong Room, Brisbane City Hall. With 115 artists exhibiting and nearly 200 artworks on show, additional artwork will also be on display in the People’s Gallery in City Hall (the corridor that connects Ann Street and Adelaide Street) from 4-9 October. Everyone is invited to take time to visit the Exhibition!

Entry to the Exhibition is free and all artwork is for sale.

Art Exhibition Times:
Saturday 5 October: 9am-5pm
Sunday 6 October (Family Fun Day): 9am-5pm
Monday 7 October: 8am-5pm
Tuesday 8 October: 8am-5pm
Wednesday 9 October: 8am-5pm
Thursday 10 October: 8am-5pm
Friday 11 October: 8am-12pm

The 2019 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition aims to raise awareness of mental health and challenge the misconceptions commonly associated with mental illness. Visitors to the Exhibition have the opportunity to better understand personal accounts through artist biographies and descriptions displayed alongside the artwork.

This professionally curated exhibition promises to delight, surprise and move you. There is something for everyone at the 2019 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition!
