Our colouring templates provide a great, calming activity for Queenslanders to get creative with this Queensland Mental Health Week.

Three of the templates can also be submitted as part of a competition for the chance to win Smiggle gift cards! So, grab some pens, pencils, crayons, or felts to add colour to the various scenes and bring them to life.

All the activities are free to download.

 What to do:

  1. Download and print a copy of the colouring or drawing competition template that you want to complete.
  2. Get your colouring pencils/pens out and let your creative juices flow!
  3. Scan or snap a picture of your entry and upload it via the below form before 5pm on Wednesday 20 October 2021. Winners will be notified by Monday 25 October 2021 via phone or email. Terms and conditions apply.

Twinkl Collaborative Colouring Activity

  • This amazing collaborative colouring activity created by the team at Twinkl in collaboration with Queensland Mental Health Week is the perfect way for teachers to introduce mental health care strategies to your students.
  • Download the PDF now from the Twinkl website and print out the pages. To do this you will need to either sign in to your Twinkl account or create a new account if you do not have one.
  • This competition is open to primary and high school classes in Queensland.
  • One class who completes the activity will be awarded a $200 Smiggle gift card.

QMHW Draw and Colour Activity Sheet

  • Download the PDF now from the QMHW website and print it out.
  • Draw in a few activities that you take time to do to help you feel good, then add colour to bring your scene to life!
  • This competition is open to children aged between 4–17 (but anyone who likes to colour can still download the sheet for fun).
  • There are three different age categories (ages 4-8; ages 9-12; ages 13-17), with 1 x $20 Smiggle gift card awarded for each age category.

QMHW Mindfulness Colouring Activity Sheet

  • Download the PDF now from the QMHW website and print it out.
  • Relax while colouring in the artwork ‘Take time – for mental health’ by Jesse James.
  • This competition is open to all ages and one lucky winner will be awarded a $20 Smiggle gift card.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is Queensland Mental Health Week through CheckUP (ABN 56123426111) of Level 2, 36 Russell Street South Brisbane, Qld 4101.
  2. Entrants into the 2021 Queensland Mental Health Week Colouring In Challenge will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions
  3. Entry is open to residents of Queensland except:
    1. employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members (excepting children of QMHC employees who are part of a classroom entry);
    2. employees of the Queensland Mental Health Commission and their immediate family members (excepting children of QMHC employees who are part of a classroom entry);
    3. persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (Entrants). For more specific age restrictions for the colouring and drawing competitions, please refer to the these on the website.
  4. The challenge period commences on Wednesday 8 September 2021 at 8:00am (AEST) and finishes on Wednesday 20 October 2021 at 5:00pm (AEST). Entrants are encouraged to participate in the activity during Queensland Mental Health Week which runs from Saturday 9 October to Sunday 17 October 2021.
  5. To enter the 2021 Queensland Mental Health Week Colouring In Challenge entrants must upload an entry via the form during the challenge period. Entries received after this time period will not be considered. The time of entry will, in each case, be the time that the entry is recorded on the servers of the Promoter, not at the time of transmission by the Entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
  6. CheckUP accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, cannot be delivered or entered, or for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery in any of the events is not proof of acceptance by CheckUP.
  7. Entrants can enter multiple prize draws, dependent on their eligibility.
  8. Any costs associated with entering the competition will be borne by the Entrant.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept or reject any entry.
  10. Judging for the competition will take place from Thursday 21 October to Monday 25 October 2021. The winners will be selected by the Promoter’s representative and each winner will receive its respective stipulated prize. All decisions are final.
  11. The prize winners will be contacted by CheckUP staff members via email.
  12. The QMHW Instagram page and QMHW Facebook Page will announce each winner publicly following the judging.
  13. If prize winners do not provide CheckUP staff with shipping details before Wednesday 3 November 2021, they will no longer be eligible to receive their prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to select alternate winner/s if it determines that the winner/s do not adequately satisfy these Terms.
  14. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to verify, or require the Entrant to verify, the Entrant’s identity, eligibility to enter the Promotion, entry submitted and compliance with these Terms.
  16. If there is a dispute about the identity of the Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the identity of the Entrant.
  17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the Promotion, Entrants:
    1. Warrant that the content of their submission is their own original work and they hold all intellectual property rights in the photograph/scan they submit; and
    2. Grant the Promoter a royalty free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to keep, store, reproduce, publish all or part of their entry.
  18. Entrants acknowledge and agree that:
    1. Their personal information will be collected by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the social media competition; and
    2. Their personal information may be disclosed by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s rights under these Terms;
    3. If they win a Prize, the Promoter can use their personal information to credit them for their entry and disclose their personal information in communication about the Promotion.
  19. Subject to these Terms, Entrants’ personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without the Entrant’s consent unless required or authorised by law. View Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  20. If the Promotion is compromised in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion. Notice of any changes to the Promotion, including any consequential changes to these Terms, will be given on the website.
  21. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) to persons or property arising in any way out of the Promotion.
  22. Each Entrant indemnifies and keeps indemnified the Promoter against all claims, losses or damages and expenses suffered by the Promoter or any third parties arising out of the breach of these Terms, the conduct of the Entrant in relation to the Promotion or use of a Prize.
  23. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all Entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding such decisions, the Promotion, these Terms or the results.
  24. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
